Abdul Kalam College of Education was started in the year 2015. The college is affiliated with being situated in Etmadnagar Alipur, Tehsil-Sardhana, Meerut, UP. The institute has got permission from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and provides two full-time education programmes. The college occupies a little over half an acre of land with a total of 201 students and 16 members of the faculty. Abdul Kalam College of Education offers two full-time courses: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education), both having a tenure of two years. The capacity for these programmes has been approved at two hundred students, while each course will cater for one hundred student’s intake. Both of the programmes are education programs and students do wish to pursue a career in teaching after the completion of their degrees. The college has taken these specialised courses to enhance its performance in the provision of qualified educators in the primary and secondary education sectors.
