The present-day Academy of Management Studies, Baripada was scheduled in the year 2006 and is an affiliated college situated at Mayurbhanj of the Odisha. Located on the National Highway NH-18, this institute offers hospitality and tourism management course. The campus has a area of 0.96 acres and at present has a total student enrolment of 222 students. The faculty consists of 9 members now, and the institute provides 3 full-time degree courses in the sphere of hospitality and tourism management. Besides, it also provides a 2-year Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM) programme in its curriculum. Each of our programmes is intended to be a full-time weekday on-campus programme through which students receive a comprehensive, hands-on education in their selected disciplines. The total student intake for all these programmes is one hundred and twenty two and this shows that the institute aims at registering feedback student intakes in order to facilitate adequate class sizes for learning.

The IIRR does not prescribe the specific examinations but the institute may include 10+2 or equivalent marks for its undergraduate programmes and for those using the result of graduation to apply for the diploma course, the results may be considered.
