Acharya Kalu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Ladnun: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Acharya Kalu Kanya Mahavidyalaya is a constituent college situated at Ladnun, Rajasthan, established in the year 1998. This women-only institution aims to improve the education standards of female students in the region. The college thus provides three undergraduate programmes, has a total student enrolment of 249, faculty of 10 members. Located in Nagaur district, the college is affiliated to Jain Vishva Bharati Institute the name of which explains its Jain tradition and principles and focus on quality education.

Education in this college is enriched by a variety of amenities that are available to enhance Acharya Kalu Kanya Mahavidyalaya learner's experience. Vardhman Granthagar is the central library of the University which possesses a stock of about 70000 books and more than 6000 manuscripts. A wide range of over 150 local and international scholarly journals including 12000 e-journals are available and the databases can be searched using the computer. The facilities include modern computer laboratories linked through LAN, and high-speed internet through NKN-INFLIBNET. So that the students’ language skills should be developed, the college has a multi-lingual language lab as well as an audio-visual lab. A digital studio can accommodate the capturing of lectures delivered by some of the esteemed scholars, thus enriching the student learning portfolio.

Acharya Kalu Kanya Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time undergraduate programmes: Holders of Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). All these programmes take three years to complete. 

Out of the admission procedure discussed above, it is not clear about the steps involved in the admission process of Acharya Kalu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, yet it is mentioned that it has a policy of admitting students on a merit basis.
