Admas Institute of Teacher Education, Kolkata, established at the beginning of the year 2012, is associated with the institution for the growth of future teachers. Located in North 24 Parganas in the state of West Bengal, the institute is spread over a tiny 2.01 acres, giving it a close and conducive environment. The institute, at par with the standards laid down by the National Council of Teacher Education, India, is well approved. With a total student enrollment of 200, the faculty strength is 15 members in Adamas Institute.

The Adamas Institute of Teacher Education has two major courses in preparing students to be effective members of the teaching profession. The admission to Adamas Institute of Teacher Education will be based on merit, considering the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institute will follow the policies prescribed by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university. In case of the B.Ed. program, the admission is done on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination or through selection approved by the competent authority. The D.El.Ed. course therefore also considers merit in qualifying examination or any prescriptive entrance test.
