Adhiparasakthi Horticultural College, Vellore: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Adhiparasakthi Horticultural College is situated at G.B Nagar, Kalavai, Vellore District,  Tamil Nadu and is a specialised college for horticulture. This affiliated college was set up in 2004 with the singular vision of promoting horticulture studies among the new generation. At present, the college has an enrolment of 385 students and 27 members of staff, thereby providing the students quality learning facilitated by an ideal students to teacher ratio. Adhiparasakthi Horticultural College has a specialised curriculum which is evident from its flagship programme, B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons.) The college has been approved intake for 120 admissions for this programme per academic year.

Adhiparasakthi Horticultural College has in place facilities that support learning and the overall development of the colleges students. The campus provides different hostels for both boys and girls so that distant students of different genders can live in comfort. A knowledge centre is a well-provisioned library, while horticultural practical learning requires a modern facility like fully equipped laboratories for departments. The college also has an auditorium for occasions and seminars making the college environment active. For students’ benefit there are a cafeteria, a health centre that includes first aid facilities, and a gym. Sports ground, badminton hall, basketball court, volleyball court and dancing hall are also provided for  recreation. In order to meet the modern requirements, the college has an excellent IT facility. There is also guest house for visiting faculty and students' family members.

Adhiparasakthi Horticultural College offers one full-time undergraduate programme, B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons). This programme is a four year course that is intended to equip students with adequate knowledge and practical knowledge in many subfields of horticulture.
