Adhiparasakthi Polytechnic College was started in the year 1983 at Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu. This institution, which has its approval from the AICTE, provides five diploma courses in Engineering fields. The college occupies a total of 24.83 acres of land and has a total enrolment of 1346 students along with 57 faculties. It offer full time diploma courses in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computers & Civil Engineering as an affiliated college. It is a technical education institute demonstrated by the various specialisation areas available and the relevant modern facilities available.

Adhiparasakthi Polytechnic College provides several facilities to its students to improve their educational process. The library contains approximately 14573 books and 20 technical magazines. The library is fully computerised, and also, has a computerised, air conditioned information centre to access internet services. For the sports loving pupil, the college offers a wide range of facilities such as cricket pitch, basketball court, volley ball court, football pitch etc. It also has two different hostels for boys and girls, the boys’ hostel for instance has the capacity of 650 student. Healthcare needs are met at Adhiparasakthi Hospital and Research Institute and every year medical check-up for all the students takes place.
