Set up in the year 2006, Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, Pune, Maharashtra is one of the major institutions for teacher training in Pune. This co-educational institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and has the prime motto of sculpting the future of many aspiring educators. The institution, spread over a 1.8-acre campus, is approved by the NCTE for imparting quality education in the field of teaching. With a total student enrolment of 182 and a faculty strength of 13, Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya provides an ideal learning environment for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. 

This institution has a number of facilities that enrich the learning environment for its students. A well-stacked library at the centre block covers an area of 1000 sq. It has an area of 1200 sq. ft. and accommodates 3500 books, including 86 reference books, which is a very good source of help for academics. It has a reading hall accommodating 100 students to study and research together. Availability of indoor and outdoor game facilities is also there for all the interested candidates. Equipments for chess, badminton, carom, cricket, football, shot-put are available with it. The IT infrastructure available in the college includes a computer laboratory with 19 computers and a printer to help the students perform practical work related to computers and prepare projects. A multi-purpose hall is used for different events, meetings, and performances. The curriculum laboratory in Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya is well-equipped with materials and apparatus to improve the understanding of different subjects. 

Only one course is offered by Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya: the B.Ed. programme. This is a two-year regular mode course with an approved intake of 100 students. 

Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya's admission procedure is based on merit list, done by taking into consideration marks in the qualifying exam followed by entrance examination. The institution accepts marks scored in MAH B.Ed CET (Maharashtra B.Ed Common Entrance Test) for admissions. The eligibility criteria laid down by the institution has to be met by the applying candidate.
