Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET), Kalady was founded in 2001. ASIET Kalady courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The courses are offered at UG, PG, and PhD levels. The college is managed by the Adi Sankara Trust. It is a private college affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram.
It also offers MBA and MCA programmes at the postgraduate level. Two Ph.D programmes are also offered by the college. Yes, you can. There are various private engineering colleges in Kerala that reserves seat for direct admission. These reserved seats come under management quota. Management quota seats are for those who have good marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics but low rank in KEAM. Each college have their separate eligibility criteria for admission. To get admission under management quota contact the admission office for details.
The donation fee varies from college to college. Higher your marks lesser will be the donation fee. It is advisable to appear for KEAM and get low marks than not appearing for the exam at all.

Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology is a better option.
Placements in the college are quite good. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA and most of the major IT companies like TCS, IBM, HCL, etc., visit the college for placements.
The campus is lush green with a very peaceful atmosphere away from the city, but still, it is well-connected. All the required facilities were provided in the college, and the management is improving it every year by constructing more buildings with better facilities and better labs.
Faculty members are the best part of the college. The staff take special care in attending each student and getting them involved in more extracurricular activities.
