Adichunchanagiri Polytechnic College, Chickmagaluru was established in the year 1987. As an affiliated college, it is recognised by the AICTE and is providing quality education in the region of Chickmagaluru, Karnataka. The college is located across a vast area of 34.36 acres and provides an appropriate ambience for students wanting to become engineers. The student enrolment is 327 total with 36 members of the faculty. In this way the college guarantee an increased attention and top educational quality. At present, this college provides five diploma courses, and each of the courses aims at preparing students for the competitive world as a result of advanced technology.

Adichunchanagiri Polytechnic College has several facilities which support learning in order to improve the learning experiences. The college also has its canteen with hygienic and diverse foods which are also pocket friendly to everyone. To maintain students’ body health, the college has sports facilities like courts and a gym on campus. The college also has a health centre that provides first aid services for its students, to improve their safety.

There are five diploma courses, which are full time three year courses, in Adichunchanagiri Polytechnic College. These programmes apply for different branches of Engineering, helping students to build a solid primary knowledge in their area of specialisation. The college boasts of an approved intake of 280 students in all the courses offered in the institution. The diploma programmes offered include Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. All these programmes are expected provide both theory and practice in order to produce students who can meet market requirements.
