AE Kalsekar Degree College was established in 2001 and it is an affiliated college located in Thane of the state Maharashtra. Located near Bharat Gear Factory in Kausa-Mumbra, the institution had been serving the needs of the educated community for over the past two decades. The campus of the college is vast, measuring 1.0076 acres of land, and it incorporates you with more undergraduate and postgraduate programs. With a total student intake of 1,937 and a faculty strength of 58, AE Kalsekar Degree College provides an ambience conducive for learning for its students. The college gained its accreditation from NAAC, which speaks volumes about the endeavour of the institution to uphold high standards in education.

All courses by the institution are on full-time basis including undergraduate and postgraduate courses. There are bachelor's programmes like BA, B.Sc, and B.Com, traditional ones in nature, along with some new-generation courses such as BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), B.Sc in Information Technology, B.Com in Banking and Insurance, B.Com in Accounting and Finance, and M.Com in Advanced Accountancy and Business Management.
