AET College of Education, Swarnasandra Feasibility was established in 2004 situated at Mandya, Karnataka. This institution which has been accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) offers teacher education. The college occupies a small area of 0.7 acre and present enrolment is 131 students and 16 teachers. The institution offer a single under graduate programme, Bachelors of Education (B.ED) which is a two year programme with the approved student capacity of one hundred students.

The AET College of Education would like to offer a variety of resources that will contribute to the improvement of students’ learning process. Internet facilities available in the well stocked library help the students in their academic endeavours. In the area of sports and games, the college offers football field, basketball court and facilities for indoor games or sports. It also values technological development and provides an outstanding information technology resource for enhanced contemporary learning. For skill enhancement of the students, the college has decentralise laboratories for respective departments. Further more, there is an auditorium in the compound constructed for conducting of different events, academics and seminars.

AET College of Education has a very specialised aim in that its only course on offer is the B.Ed programme, for the production of professional teachers. The two-year full time course has a total intake capacity of 100 combined with student professional ratio it seemed the institution properly aimed at escalating the student-faculty ratio. This confines focus on the college to enable it provide quality teacher education as hereby enhanced by resource and expertise.

To enter AET College of Education students are taken on credit, the admission policy follows the requirements set by the state government, Union Territory administration and the university affiliated to the institution. Admission is offered to those students who pass the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination drawn for this purpose. The college may also use other processes of selection as among the prevailing policies. It also helps in making sure that right candidates are awarded an opportunity to enroll for B.Ed at the institution.
