Agarwal Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is a prestigious teacher training College established in the year 2005. This affiliated college recognised by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) is future of education. Based within a 1.8-acre area, the institute presently provides three specific programmes in the two degree options with a total student enrolment of 444 students. The college has a team of 33 educators and, therefore, has a good number of teachers so as to balance the student to teacher ratio well and be able to produce good quality teachers through the teacher training programme.

The Agarwal Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya  has various facilities in order to promote the learning process of its students. College library is a source of good knowledge provision since it avails a lot of knowledge enhancing resources. Purposeful practical actual labs meet different requirements of the departments. The institute, thus, does not lag behind in providing sports facilities for the students since the institute aims at the all round development of the individual. An auditorium in campus is used for event and seminars in order to participate in intellectual and cultural processes. It also values technological development with good information technology as students are prepared for the modern society of learning. In order to accommodate the pleasure of visiting faculty and student’s family members there are guest house and waiting area in the school.

At present, the institute Agarwal Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya offers three full time courses but all of the course have their own requirements as per the needs of the candidates. For the B.Ed programme of the institute, the college has been granted an approval for 100 seats of which one constitutes flagship programme of the college. Also offered by the college is concurrency programmes which include; B.A B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed, the two programmes takes four years whereby the first half is independent studies as an under graduate and second half is teacher training. Such programmes are meant to prepare professionals, who will have adequate content knowledge as well as adequate mastery of pedagogy.

The admission criterion of Agarwal Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is based on merit which follows the norms and policy provided by the state government and its affiliated university. Teacher education for the B.Ed programme depends on the qualification and mark gotten in the entrance examinations. The college may also use other selection procedures as mentioned by the current policies of the employers.
