Agrawal Mahila Teacher’s Training College is an affiliated college established in 1999 in Gangapur City of Rajasthan. This institution specialises in teacher education, offering two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. This college is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for standard education of its teachers. The college has total 32 faculty members to train would be teachers and offer them all round education and training.
The Agrawal Mahila Teacher’s Training College comprises many infrastructural units whose main purpose is to support learning and growth of student as a whole. One of the main facilities is Girls Hostel that can welcome up to 200 students and secure them along with offering comfortable conditions. Amenities include clean environment, healthy meals, and large rooms, plus there is complementary access to swimming pool and gym. The college library is an information centre with a stock of more than 10106 books, 38 subscribed national educational journals and magazines. It is fully computerised so that the use of resource is properly managed through software meant for this purpose. The campus also provides the basic necessity such as health centre with first aid, Sports facility, Modern IT facilities, Canteen facility, well equipped laboratories, Auditorium for events and seminars, Gym facility etc.
Three main courses are conducted in this college, out of which two courses are mainly focus on education field for women. According to the governmental approval the college offers one hundred seats for B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) programme and also D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme. These are both full-time courses, and each takes two years for successful completion. These programmes are offered as degree programmes that aim at training teachers that would teach in primary and secondary institutions.
