Ahmedabad Dental College and Hospital, or ADC Ahmedabad, was established in the year 2003 as one of the premier educational institutions of dental science in Ahmedabad. The affiliated college is located near Science City, off S.P. Ring Road, Ahmedabad. In a sprawling area of 6 acres, ADC Ahmedabad is approved by the DCI for its high-quality dental education. The institute offers 9 courses across 2 degrees with a total student enrolment of 566 and a faculty strength of 131. Specializing in different disciplines of dentistry, ADC Ahmedabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field.

The institution has numerous ultramodern facilities that support its academic environment. The boys' and girls' hostels are well equipped and on campus, ensuring a comfortable living experience. Indoor recreational facilities are available in the hostels. The Library is a knowledge hub with more than 1,700 dental and Medical reference books. Under the library, there is a facility for access to 131 online national and international journals. The Health Centre has a first-aid facility on the campus for any kind of health need. Modern learning techniques are also supported by the college with its IT infrastructure. The auditorium is provided, which helps in conducting various programs and seminars. The College also provides its own fleet of buses to ensure convenient commutation, and these buses connect the campus to various parts of the city.

ADC, Ahmedabad offers a wide range of courses related to Dentistry. The institute offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Dental Surgery with an intake of 100 students. At the postgraduate level, it offers eight Master of Dental Surgery courses, each with an intake of 5 students, except for MDS in Oral Surgery, which has 4 seats.The MDS programs offered are in the following specialized areas of dentistry: Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Medicine, and Oral Surgery. All courses are full-time, making them more intensive and focused dental education. The approved total intake for all courses is 139 students annually, which explains the institute's commitment to having an optimum student-faculty ratio for quality in education. 

The merit-based admission procedure of ADC Ahmedabad is pretty structured. The BDS course is based on the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. MDS programs, candidates need to qualify in the NEET MDS examination. All these national-level entrance examinations ensure a college admission wholly on the basis of the aptitude and knowledge of the student in the concerned field of dentistry. Basically, the academic calendar is in sync with the NEET and NEET MDS exam schedules; generally, admissions start after the results have been declared.
