AJK College, Jamshedpur instituted in the year, 2013 is the light house of higher education in the central region of Jharkhand. This affiliated college is situated in Asanboni, Dhatkidih, Jadugoda which covers an area of about 19 acres which are most suited for academic activities. Over all AJK college has 206 students ernolled and 15 faculty members which makes the learning environment student friendly. This is evidenced by a diverse list of 12 courses under 3 degrees programmes to fit different academic needs and generate different career paths.

AJK College has a wide range of undergraduate courses, although it mainly specialises in the humanities and social sciences. There are 12 full- time courses offered in the institution and all of these are known as regular courses. Political science is also a area of the college also there are some other departments namely economics, history sociology and philosophy and psychology and College also Provide general BA courses as well.
