AJK Institute of Management, Navakkarai: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Recently Navakkarai affiliated AJK Institute of Management was established in 2010 which is situated at Coimbatore Tamilnadu. Spread over a small area of 2.95 acres, the institute is specifically oriented towards management education. With an aggregate student enrolment capacity of 71 and faculty of 12 members, AJK Institute of Management offers the elbow space form of education. At the moment, the institute only awards one degree, the MBA degree. Though one cannot quote specific accreditations the institute is recognised to provide management education in Tamil Nadu.

AJK Institute of Management owns different amenities that could be of help to the students. It has more than 3350 books, print journals, magazines, project report and electronic resources including computing and internet facilities. The campus includes smart air conditioned classes with facility of Audio/Projector which makes the atmosphere more conducive to learning. In this regard, there is computer centre in the college having 120 computers and broadband facility. They also have privileges to use sporting amenities, a dining hall as well as the school clinic with first aid. For the convenience of the students residing in the nearby places the institute has arranged for bus facilities from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Pollachi and from Kerala.

AJK Institute of Management is distinct from other business schools and universities because it only delivers MBA while it is provided only in full-time mode and the programme lasts two years. The institute’s programmes of study are developed with the aim of producing business graduates equipped to seamlessly fit into the harsh business world, with a focus on teaching business computer applications and communication software packages.

The admission at AJK Institute of Management is competitive and considers, criteria important for admission purposes. The entrance test for admission includes national level test results such as Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by AICTE, Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test TANCET. After the entrance examination the candidates who are selected through this examination sit for a group discussion and interview.
