Akal College of Education is a constituent college Также established in the year 2013 and situated in Baru Sahib, Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh. This NCTE approved college is solely dedicated to teacher education and provides a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. The college is located on a campus of 0,6177 ha and being a college dedicated to developing future educators. Akal College of Education has a compact faculty having 10 members only and keeping education its focal point the institution strives hard to come out with flying colors. In offering its services, the college is dedicated in providing education, this is evident from its offering of a single course that taking and training students offering education lessons.

Akal College of Education has several learning facilities to improve the learning abilities of the student’s as shall be seen below. Through this library, students gain important source of various educational, procedural and literature resources for their effective learning activities. For practical learning, the college has developed departmental laboratories where learners can practice in almost all facets of college education. Not surprisingly, aware of the need for students’ experience to have a sound body, the institution provides opportunities for sports, thus coordinating the proper growth and development of the students. Also, the college provides outstanding IT facilities and equipment to prepare learners for the technological component of the current learning system.

Akal College of Education is however limited to only one course which is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a full course offered in two years and prepares teachers to teach formally. This college also admits 100 students for this course, thus affording every student an excellent chance to join this field of learning institution. This institution offers admission to both the college and the courses offered based on the marks that were scored in the qualifying or the entrance examination. It is the admission policy stipulated by the state government Union Territory administration as well as the university.
