Akole Taluka Education Society's Faculty of Polytechnic, Akole was established in 2014. It is one of the premier technical institutes in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. This co-educational institute is an AICTE-approved institution that offers various streams of engineering at the diploma level. This institution has its campus on a vast 5-acre area with a total enrolmet of 430 students and 18 faculty members. 

The polytechnic prides itself on offering a plethora of modern facilities towards making students' experiences advantageously fruitful. It has well-equipped laboratories for each department, which aids hands-on training which is of the essence in technical education. A comprehensive library serves as a knowledge hub and aids in academic pursuits and research-related activities. The institute also has sports facilities and a gymnasium that help in the physical development of students. Akole Taluka Education Society's Faculty of Polytechnic runs four full-time diploma courses, each of three years duration. Some of the main courses they offer are in fields of engineering. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Engineering. The intake of students for each course is capped at 60, translating into an annual total of 240 seats across its programs.
