The Aksharaa Polytechnic, Bondapalli, was distinguished in 2009 and is an affiliated technical institute placed in Vijayawada District, Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college approved from All India Council of Technical Education provides diploma courses in different streams of engineering. Currently the Aksharaa Polytechnic faculty includes 53 competent and committed professionals towards providing good quality technical education. The institute runs five diploma courses that are full-time programs conducted over a duration of three years to meet different engineering disciplines. Though there is no relative enrollment figure of students but due to its diversified course it caters the students to the technical world.

Aksharaa Polytechnic provides every necessity and facility for academic and personal development of individual to learn on its beautiful campus. The college has a furnished library with books, periodicals, journals, magazines and other learning materials to meet the needs of learners. Departments provide practical laboratory sessions necessary for the comprehension of engineering concepts. There is also an auditorium in the institute, where all kinds of seminars and related events are held regularizing the academic life of the institute. Incorporation of good Information Technology with excellent Internet facilities makes Aksharaa polytechnic technological sound with the students armed with the current Industrial technology. But for a better and sound college life there are facilities of play grounds, clubs and physical education which helps the student to be a better team player as well as a fit one. 

Aksharaa Polytechnic proffers a total of five diploma courses that are all Day Courses only. These courses deals with fundamental elements of engineering disciplines where in they get to be equipped with skills on their chosen disciplines. The total approved intake capacity for the institute is 510 seats in a view of all the courses offered that proves the fact that the institute has the potential of handling a large number of students intending to be engineers. Though information on the total graduate output is still lacking, the institute is committed to offering practical-centered the students everything that propel them to success in the engineering market. 

Admissions in Aksharaa Polytechnic are done on the basis of merit most of the time. In case of majority of the courses, the students are admitted to the courses based on the POLYCET/ PCB; being conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education & Training. In the selection process, the department also does not violate the rules of reservation as prescribed in the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This helps to avoid the scooping of the most talented candidates and offers equal chances to all who meet the requirements. Unfortunately, information concerning scholarships offered by the institute is not available, but the institute probably operates under the government guidelines for scholarships for the needy students.
