Akshita College of Higher Education, Meerut, which was set up in 2014, is also an emergent college for the future teachers. About this College: This college situated at Vill - Edmadnagar Alipur Tehsil-Sardhana, Dist-Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, covering the area of a small plot of 0.61776 Acre. The institute is recognised with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which provides proper emphasis on teacher education programme. At present, there are 60 students enroled at the college, and there are 16 faculty members, making Akshita College ideal for nurturing students one on one. 

Akshita College of Higher has different facilities that would help to improve educational experience of students. The well-stocked library has in excess of 3650 volumes and over 1000 titles, supported by Journals, encyclopaediasand Dictionaries to provide in-depth subject knowledge. The institution also plans to open an E-library to expand the learning resource in the electronic system. For the purpose of practical studies for the learners, the college possesses specialised laboratory arenas such as the Psychology Lab, that contains more than seventy-five types of psychology tests, and modern Science Lab with all essential physical structures required for B. Ed. degree students. The campus has three spacious, well-equipped classrooms with modern facilities to support teaching and learning process. 

Akshita College of Higher Education offers one primary course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. This is a two-year full-time course with an approved intake capacity of one hundred students’ seats worthy the institute’s to produce quality educators. purpose of the B.Ed. programme is to equip students with broad-based knowledge on theories and practices on teaching-learning process, educational psychology and other subject matter teaching methods to enable them to be effective practitioners in the nation’s school system.
