Al-Ameen College of Education (an amalgamated institution) is in Papuri, situated in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The admission to the Al-Ameen College of Education is based on merit, considering the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission policies as laid down by the State Government, UT Administration and the affiliated university would be adopted by the college. The academic year commences mostly in August-September, whereas the admission processes start a few months back.

The admission for B.Ed. is in accordance with the admission policy of the State Government and affiliated university. The D. El. Ed. program also admits students based only on merit, where the merit may be based on either the marks secured in the qualifying examination or the marks obtained in the entrance examination as decided by the state government or UT administration. Normally, for admission to the B.Ed. program, one would require a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates for the D. El. Ed. program would normally have to pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
