Al-Ameen College of Education provides an environment to learn & grow as educators at its college in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. This is co-educational college was established in 2009, and it has been preparing teachers for over 10 years. This is an affiliated college located on 5-acre area approved by the National Council for Teacher Education – NCTE. Al-Ameen College of Education is blessed with a relatively small population of 106 students and 15 teachers.

It has a variety of amenities that are intended to support students learning process and their general personality development. The campus comprises of a well stocked library whereby students get ample and variety of educative books and other reading materials. For practical assignment, the college retains departmental laboratories the enables all students to have practical lessons in their fields of specialisation. Sport and physical fitness and recreation are supported through college sport facilities. The auditorium has a multipurpose function, which is used for meetings, seminars, performances, etc, enhancing students’ activities. To cater to the learning needs of students in the college, the college has accesse excellent IT facilities.

At present Al Ameen College of Education is offering only one full time course namely Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course. Currently, the institute offers a two-year programme to produce professional teachers, thereby approval to admit 100 students. The subjects included in the course content span across many aspects of education, teaching methodologies, and child development.

Thus the admission policy of the Al-Ameen College of Education is merit based following the norms of state government/Union Territory and the University to which the College is affiliated to. It depends on the scores secured in the entrance qualifying examination and performance in the relevant entrance test. The college may also have its own selection process as per the guidelines of the prevailing year.
