The Al-Ameen Medical College was started in the year 1994 and was located in Bijapur, Karnataka, India. This affiliated college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) provides a broad spectrum of medical education in this huge hall centric campus of more than 200 acres. The college had total number of students enrolment of 599 and it consists of 117 faculty members to support the students intending to become good medical professionals. Al-Ameen Medical College presently teaches 16 courses under four-degree programmes and focusing on the different aspects of medicine.

Al-Ameen Medical College in its presents offers total of 16 courses and all the programmes are on full time. The basic MBBS programme serves as the foundational programme of the under graduate programmes offered, different post graduate courses serve the purpose of specialised medical education. The college offers MD and MS courses in various fields of medicine including General Surgery, Pathology, Physiology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and General Medicine and others.

Select eligibility criteria at Al-Ameen Medical College basically aim at national level entrance tests. Admissions to MBBS are very straight-forward in that there is only one admission process for the MBBS programme, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Likewise for postgraduate courses such as MDs and MSs NEET PG entrance test is conducted for admission.
