Al-Barkaat College of Graduate Studies, Aligarh, was founded in 2013 and is a comparatively young institution in the emerging phase to impart higher education. This college is in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, so it is expanding continuously to cater for the educational needs of prospective students. The campus is in 3.265 acres, thereby affording the students with a good terrain, conducive for learning and character molding. The college has a population of 175 students and has 8 faculty members making the student-teacher ratio an appropriate 21:1. At present, the institute is the home of only one degree programme treading the path of specialisation eliminating the concept of programme sprawl. 

Al-Barkaat College of Graduate Studies has provided a list of amenities that are meant to improve learners’ experience in the college. The library remains central in students’ academic life because it offers them a wide array of academic information. Al-Barkaat College of Graduate Studies presently has only one full time programme, which is the BBA Programme. This is an undergraduate course spanning three academic years and the college has an approved human resource capacity to admit 60 students annually as a way of ensuring high quality education delivery due to limited cohort size. BBA programme is specially designed to provide students with basic business management skills, and backgrounds in order to compete in the corporate business world or to pursue a higher level of management education.

The BBA programme can be thus offered directly to prospective students who intend to apply to the college. Candidate is tested normally on the basis of his X+II or equivalent exam.
