Al Kareem College of Nursing, Gulbarga owned and run by Almaraque Educational Trust formed in the year 2003 pave the path for healthcare education in Karnataka, India. This coeducational institution is located right in the city of Gulbarga and has been preparing the future of nursing for almost two decades. The college is a 6 acre one and it is an affiliated college recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to give its students, a course regimented by the Indian Nursing Council. It aims at delivering education-learning experience combining both arts and sciences with a qualifying examination with 342 total student enrolment and 29 faculty- officials of staff. The institute offers a wide spectrum of nursing curriculum which five courses degree, seven courses aggregate board 2 degree courses.

One of the greatest strengths of the college is the availability of resources whose purpose is to improve student learning environment. This brick and mortar facility for learning currents over 100 students at a time and has thousands of books in addition to special material on manifold nursing topics. There is also 2 part dedicated to the Internet Online library of Helinet containing 600 sq ft with high configuration computer systems. To support practical learning activities, the college has functional department-based laboratories. The building also houses a large 3000 sq. ft.

Al Kareem College of Nursing is catering all the necessary nursing programmes for different aims and goals of the career related to health care field. The institute offers 7 full time courses out of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. , at undergraduate level, the college offers, a four year B.Sc nursing programme with 40 seats for the course, and two years post B.Sc nursing with 30 seats. For those who wish to have more focused area of study, the college offers the following 2-year M.Sc Nursing in Community Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Paediatric Nursing.
