Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: It is a four-year undergraduate course with an intake of 40 seats. The admission process is strictly on the basis of merit in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. The course equips the student with broad-based training in nursing care and health care management.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This is a two-year course offered to registered nurses for upgrading their qualification. Intake capacity is 30 seats. Candidates should have completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a valid nursing registration certificate.

M.Sc Nursing: The college offers the following M.Sc Nursing programs in the various disciplines with an intake capacity of 5 seats for two years:

M.Sc Community Health Nursing

  • M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing (6 seats)
  • M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing (5 seats)
  • M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing (4 seats)
  • M.Sc Paediatric Nursing (3 seats)

Candidates for these programmes are usually considered for admission based on the performance obtained by them in the B.Sc. Nursing degree or even through some entrance examination followed by an interview.
