Al-Khateeb Government Aided Polytechnic, Bangalore: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

This paper therefore presents Al-Khateeb Government Aided Polytechnic, situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, and which was started in 1983. This affiliated college is located at R.M.V. 2nd Stage, Bhoopasandra surrounded by a hyperactive environment and occupies an area of only 2.2 acres of land. Being recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) the institute has four diploma courses in engineering fields. With a total of 1300 students and the faculty of 25, the polytechnic is well focused on student to faculty ratio which is another factor of better results.

The institute has manyaccomplishments in satisfaction of Learning outcomes it has amenities to facilitate the students. A good and equipped library offers students a spur to academic resources including reserve books, books on shelves, newspapers, and magazines. This polytechnic is particularly proud of it’s department-based laboratories, which is very important for technical and vocational education. High quality of IT support means that students do update themselves with the current technological developments in the society. Astute to the development of the whole man, the institute has provided for sporting facilities in terms of fitness as well as in groupmanship. First aid facilities are also present in the compound of health center; it is important with students’ welfare. 

Al-Khateeb Government Aided Polytechnic Currently the institute offers a set of specialised full time diploma courses all of which are of a three years’ duration. The available courses include Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering. Each program has been approved for an intake of up to 30 students and across all the courses, there are a total of one hundred and twenty 120 seats.
