Al-Qamar College of Nursing situated at Gulbarga, Karnataka, India was started in the year 2003 is a famous college to provide nursing education in Karnataka. This co-educational college is opposite to Sonia Gandhi Nagar, Malgatti Road and has been significantly molding the future of nursing for almost two decades. Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the college undertakes the need of providing different courses for nursing to cater for the employment market. According to the latest records, the college has 271 students and 44 members on the faculty of Al-Qamar College of Nursing giving it a more focused learning institution.
This college has all state of art facilities that can complement the educational process of a student in the institution. Rich in books, Periodicals and digital resources, the library resource avail all nursing information to the students in the school. There are number of modern laboratories for training such as Fundamental of nursing laboratory, Anatomy and physiology & Biochemistry laboratory, Nutrition laboratory, Community & OB/Gynae laboratory (MCH), Microbiology laboratory and AV laboratory. It also has well-furnished hostels for boys and girls as well as accommodate out station students in a comfortable environment. Other facilities are a canteen for healthy meals, playing fields, gymnasium, and a hall for group activities such as seminars.
The Al-Qamar College of Nursing has three full time nursing courses to accommodate the various levels of nursing. There is a B.Sc Nursing with intake capacity 40 students and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2-annual running program with intake capacity of 30 students and a General Nursing Midwifery 4-annual running program having 60 intake capacity. These programs are intended to provide the students with rich theoretical background and practical experience necessary for effective functioning of a nurse.

The course fees for the Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] Nursing ranges from INR 8,500 to 1.3 lakhs per annum. GNM Nursing Course Fees is a minimum of Rs 23,000 P/A, which goes up to INR 1, 50,000 annually.
