The Alankar Mahila B.Ed. College was set up in 2007 and is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This affiliated college recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and provides teacher education programs. Currently, the college resides on a small 1.69-acre plot providing a suitable learning atmosphere selected by the educators-to-be. Currently, the college works with 631 students, including 41 teachers, which allows maintaining a rather low student-teacher ratio and providing quality education. The institution has three clearly defined courses in two degree program to meet different educational needs in the teaching profession.
The college has a number of facilities it deems essential to the learning process and general development of the students. The library which is an important source of academic literature has a collection of 7763 books; 21 volumes of education encyclopedias; and 17 journals. It also avails basic technology infrastructure included in the package of computers connected to the internet as well as a photocopier. These facilities include, well equipped science and psychology laboratories, an Educational Technology (abstract) lab with appropriate audio visual facilities. The computer lab has basic equipment, such as computers, and some required software for developing IT skills. For students’ physical fitness and health, the college provides sports field and other facilities, a gym, and a health section with first aid services.
The Alankar Mahila B.Ed. College provides a total of three complete courses, and all of them are for teacher education. They include a two year B.Ed, the four year B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated course and the three years B.A B.Ed Integrated course. It has total student intake capacity of 300 for these programs out of which 200 for B.Ed. course, 50 for B.Sc B.Ed. integrated course and 50 for BA B.Ed integrated course.

Girl's hostel facilities in Alankar college Jaipur are good. The Hostel Accommodation is available inside the campus. It has an eco-friendly and pollution-free environment. The rooms are airy and spacious. The loving motherly care provided by the hostel warden gives security to students. First Aid and 24 hours of a medical facility are available to resident students. Hostel forms are to be filled and submitted separately in the college office. The hostel has a modern mess and dining hall with an indoor games facility. The college also has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
