Degree wise Admission Process
BASLP: 40 seats are offered in the Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology course. The admission is two-stage, 23 seats being filled based on an entrance test held by the institute and 15 seats being filled on merit based on NEET scores. This provides a balance and quality intake of students.
B.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment): The course has 39 seats. The selection process is either by the Entrance Examination held by Osmania University or merit based on marks secured in the degree in optional subjects. It offers sufficient flexibility to check the candidates extensively.
M.Ed. Hearing Impairment: There are 23 seats in this postgraduate program, and admission to it is through the All India Entrance Exam organized by AYJNISHD(D). This guarantees that the applicants possess minimum knowledge to do further studies in the field of hearing impairment education.
M.Sc. Audiology: 12 seats are available under this course. Admission, as in the case of M.Ed. course, is based on merit in the All India Entrance Exam of AYJNISHD(D) with a significant level of requirement for advanced audiology training.
Ph.D. Courses: Ph.D. in Special Education and Audiology and Speech Language Pathology can be pursued from the institute.
