Aligarh College of Education, Aligarh was established in 2005 and is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. With a compact campus of 0.06198 acres, the college provides 12 courses across 10 degrees. The institute will provide an concentrated learning environment considering its 61 student strength and 16 in terms of faculty strength. The college offers various kinds of programmes presented here, which include B.Ed, B.Com, BA, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, D.El.Ed, M.Com, and MA.

At the postgraduate level, courses offered by the institute include M.Com and MA English. The total intake of all courses is indeed very large because BA and B.Com have 360 and 180 seats respectively while the main course of the institute, B.Ed, has 100 students. 

Students at Aligarh College of Education are selected purely on merit basis, depending solely on marks gained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance exams conducted in accordance with state and university policies. B. Ed courses strictly follow a merit-based admission process scored through their corresponding qualifying examination scores or entrance exams. For D. El. Ed., it is also on the same pattern, that is, through entrance exams or based on merit scored in the qualifying examination as per the state government and university norms.
