Alpine College of Management and Technology, Dehradun: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Situated at Nanda Ki Chowki, Prem Nagar, Dehradun, Alpine College of Management and Technology, Dehradun, is an affiliated college. The institute was established with the prime motto of imparting technical education; it is approved by AICTE and PCI. The college has a sprawling 24 acre campus and offers five diploma programs in different disciplines. The institute has 48 faculty members for this diverse lot of students.

To assist and support their students, the college is equipped with all modern facilities. The provision of separate hostels for boys and girls on the college campus is essential for a home-away-from-home environment. A well-stocked library has been set up as the base for academics, with more than 25,000 books from various fields. A first-aid setting makes health a priority, and the sports facilities encourage physical activities. Department-wise, different laboratories cater to the practical learning needs of students. Wi-Fi-enabled campus ensures uninterrupted connectivity for academic needs. There's a canteen to serve delicious vegetarian dishes under strict hygiene conditions. It also runs buses to ensure comfortable commutation to various parts of the city. Alpine College of Management and Technology conducts five full-time diploma courses in all.
They are Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, and D.Pharma. The number of years for both the engineering and hotel management courses is three years, and the duration for the pharmacy course is two years. The total sanctioned intake of all these courses comes to 480, with mechanical and civil engineering having 120 each, while the hotel management course and the pharmacy would have 60 seats each.
