AM Reddy Memorial College of Pharmacy, Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh was established in the year 2004. The Courses running in the college of pharmacy include B Pharma, M Pharma with its three specialisations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharm.D. All programs are full-time, including a total intake capacity of 175 for all courses. B Pharma has the most significant intake, with 100 seats, while every stream of M Pharma offers 15 seats. Pharm.D will admit 30 students to its six-year course.
The admission process in the college is merit-based; it accepts scores of various entrance exams. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is the main entrance examination for undergraduates. Postgraduate admissions are based on Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test ranks. The college also participates in the centralised counselling process conducted by the state government. The AM Reddy Memorial College of Pharmacy (AMRMCP), Narasaraopet, is an award institute, which provides pharmacy education through both undergraduate and postgraduate schemes. Admission into the college is merit-based along with due consideration for the scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance examinations conducted for the different programs offered by the institution. The AMRMCP college is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Within a very short time span, this college has created a strong name for itself with respect to pharmacy education and infrastructure. Usually, the admission cycle for AMRMCP runs parallel to the academic year of the university, which may typically start sometime around August-September. Besides others, the grading in AP EAMCET is a very important criterion for admission into undergraduate courses in the college. This online examination is being conducted on 18th and 19th May 2025 for the AP EAMCET Agriculture and Pharmacy.
The admission to the postgraduate programs will be based on the scores of GPAT and AP PGECET, besides. The AP PGECET is scheduled to be held in online mode from June 4 to June 6, 2025. Different programs will have different necessities in terms of eligibility. With respect to B. Pharma, candidates should complete their Grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and either Math or Biology subjects. For M. Pharma specialization, B. Pharma must be from the Statutory Body-recognized University. Students will have to check their eligibility concerning each of these programs on the college's official website or through the admission office of the college.

Admission Process Degree wise:
B.Pharma: Approved intake for the B.Pharm Program: the AMRMCP's intake is 100 seats. The candidate selection is on the basis of the rank obtained in the AP EAMCET entrance examination. This four-year course will be training students in-depth in pharmaceutical sciences.
Pharm.D: AMRMCP provides a 30-student intake for Pharm.D. Admission in this course (6 years) again goes by AP EAMCET rank, just like in B.Pharma.
M.Pharma: M.Pharma offered by this college is for three specialties: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis with an intake of 15 students each. Admission is based on GPAT or AP PGECET rank. Admissions will thus continue preliminarily on merit based on the students' scores in the above-mentioned entrance examinations.
