Over 200 Companies visited every year in this campus. The average package offered by the company is 5.8 lakhs per annum and highest package offered is 57 lakhs per annum for the year 2020. 90 - 95% students get placed each year stream wise. In July 2020, 271 students got placed irrespective of streams.

There is no complete report available for number of placed students. Since the average package is very good, you can expect atleast 1/3 deserving students got placed above 10 lakhs previous year. According to careers360 VIT Vellore got 4.3 rating out of 5. And placement rating as 4.1 out of 5. In 2019-20, VIT took more than 700 companies to the placement campus. Previous year to that, the highest CTC offered by Microsoft was 41.6.

According to career360 Amrita university got 4.2 rating out of 5.And placement rating as 4 out of 5.

In college wise both are good in placement result and infrastructure. But comparing course ECE is bit tougher than CSE. ECE student has the advantage to work in both core (ECE) companies as well as IT firms but when it comes to salary packages CSE students are paid a bit more than  .

However the courses selection is purely based on your interest. You can make your choice based on your field of interest.

Please be mindful that there no branch-wise cut-off in Amrita. Applicants are given admission based on their AEEE/JEE/SAT/ PUEE score or rank.

It depends on the number of applicants that have applied for that particular campus. Now the seat matrix for every branch is a minimum of 60 seats.

You can apply for the centralized seat allotment process based on any of these AEEE/JEE/SAT/ PUEE, as your most preferred branch will be allotted by merit of these respective ranks or scores.

If your preferred branch is ECE then the seat allotment process will check if the seat can be allotted to you in the respective branch based on any of the scores/ranks of these exams.

Given your score, you have a good chance of getting your preferred branch. However, it is uncertain to predict these things, so can't assure the same.

First you need to make sure that whether your home state is Tamil Nadu or not, because the chances of getting any seat in the Amrita is totally depends on that.

According to your score your rank should be around 3.5K and this is the very decent score anyone can achieve to get the seat in Amrita.

if you are from Tamil Nadu then definitely you will get CSE seat as the minimum marks required to get the CSE seat for home state student is 110 or the rank of 1200, as you are coming in this range then their is chance that either you will get CSE core or the CSE with specialization.

And if you are not from Tamil Nadu then there is very less chance that you will get CSE moreover you may get electrical and computer or CCE or ECE but not the CSE. For open state you marks should be 145+ to get the CSE seat in any campus of the Amrita.
