My college is well infrastructured which consists lots of uniqueness which makes student to focus on what actually important. Living space is absolutely clean. Facilities provided are well and good as far now.
For academics, it has well educated faculties for every branch, HODs are very supportive for students. Various clubs are developing all round skills that are helping students to get placed in good companies.
Placement here are average. I actually don't know much about placement but what I heard about this placement is that the placement are average companies do come but not much students are placed but still it's good.
Very good infrastructure and coaching. Ample study resources are available. Highly recommend to all the students for higher education. Very good faculty and faculty-students relationship. Overall very good.
I am studying MBA. Teaching staffs are highly skilled and relate the theory to the recent trends in the topics make it more relevant to the present day scenario. Ample study resources are provided and doubts are clarified then and there.
Very good job placement opportunity on campus. Due to its reputation we get opportunity in best of industry in the market with a decent salary package. College was supportive in the overall drive process and encouraged us to participate.
Very good value for money. My course costed 55k per sem. But the experience and exposure worths every penny. Though mine is an online mode. It contains all the aspects of a regular education. Very good.
Very good campus experience. All students are vibrant. Students apart from regular curriculum, are engaged with life skill trainings, sports, paper presentations, seminars, webinars hence are fully engaged.
Very good experience overall. Highly recommended University for higher education for all domains. Good discipline, hence it fosters good study environment. It gave me good exposure and I was able to enjoy every aspect of the program.
College provides a WiFi network throughout the building blocks. We even have a well-established library. The hostel and mess are inside our campus itself. Only vegetarian food is being served there. Single sharing rooms are provided to all the students in the hostel. Common toilets are kept clean throughout the day. Other facilities such as a swimming pool, grass court for football, gym are also available.
Teachers are well experienced and highly qualified. They not only help us improve our knowledge academic wise, but also mold us for tackling situations demanded in the field. Most of them stay inside campus and students can approach them 24/7. The course curriculum is updated and is according to the industry requirement. The students have to attain 50% marks to pass a subject.
Due to the pandemic situation, placements are a bit tight. Those who chose marketing as their domain were able to get placed with a good salary package. For the operations, HR, and analytics domain, placements are quite low. Finance people were able to get placed with a decent salary package but some of their job roles were more related to sales. The placement activities are carried out by a placement team which is handled by student coordinators. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
As we are attending online classes now, the total cost for our course, for now, is 10 Lakhs( Hostel fee not included). Yes, it is definitely worth paying this much money if it was an offline course because the way they train you and teaching quality is very effective. We have industry interaction with alumni and corporate people.
I really don't know what to say when it comes to campus life. I just got to see the campus while I went to attend my interview. Classes were online for us from the beginning onwards due to pandemics. But we did our best with what we have right now. We conducted the very first online annual B-fest, Pragati'21 which is a flagship event on the campus, and got a chance to mingle with our seniors and batchmates through this event. It was such a wonderful experience.
Securing a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) seat at Amrita University's Coimbatore campus with a 93 percentile in JEE Mains is unlikely but not entirely impossible , especially if you are from the home state (Tamil Nadu). Based on the previous year's trends and the information available for the 2025 admissions, the cutoff percentile for CSE at the Coimbatore campus for students from other states generally ranges from 95 to 99.5 percentile . For home state students, the range is slightly lower, approximately 92 to 99 percentile .
Your 93 percentile falls within the lower end of the home state range. While it might be challenging to get CSE in the general category, there could be a possibility through state quota admissions if you are eligible, as state quota cutoffs can sometimes go lower. Additionally, admission depends on the number of applicants and the specific cutoff released for this year, which will be available after the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP).
It's crucial to participate in the Amrita admission process and counseling. Even if you don't secure CSE in the initial rounds, there might be chances in subsequent rounds if seats remain vacant. Keep an eye on the official Amrita University admissions website for the latest cutoff details and announcements. You might also consider other campuses of Amrita University, such as Amritapuri or Bengaluru, where the CSE cutoffs might be relatively lower. Applying through the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) could also provide another avenue for admission.
I hope this helps.
With 93 percentile in JEE Main, getting CSE at Amrita Coimbatore might be difficult since the cutoff is usually around 95+ percentile.
However, you can still :
Try for other Amrita campuses (Amritapuri, Bengaluru) where cutoffs may be lower.
Apply through Amrita Entrance Exam (AEEE), which has a separate admission process and lower cutoffs.
If CSE at Coimbatore is your priority, you can check the latest cutoffs and consider backup options.
The percentile required for admission to the Amrita Coimbatore campus through AEEE ranges from 88 to 95 for home-state candidates and 92 to 97 for other state candidates.
Your AEEE score is 88.2 which is within the range, so you have some chance of getting admission here through AEEE.
Through JEE Mains, the required percentile is 95.5, so you have a bit less chance of getting admission. However, you can still try.
