Hi aspirant,
In my opinion and analysing the factors that one should consider while choosing a college such as academics, placements ,packages and better return of investment you should go for Amrita, Coimbatore. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham ranks 20th in nirf engineering rankings with an amazing coding culture and environment.AVV Coimbatore has been accredited with 'A' grade by NAAC in 2009 and is spread across an area of 400 acres with world class infrastructure and well maintained Labs. The curriculum is well updated with regular hackathons and webinars. The average package for ECE at the institution is around 5.5lacs per annum.
Hope it helps!!
Dear Aspirant
The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is becoming really hard these days because of the huge demand.
According to your mentioned marks and previous year trends, your rank might be in the range : 13500-15000 (this may or may not be accurate due to varying trends every year). For open state quota previous (2017) closing rank for CSE was 1813. So there aren't much chances according to this. You can try applying for CSE in their Amritapuri campus. You can check all options with AEEE here -

All the best for your future career
Greetings of the day aspirant
The cutoff keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the examination, number of available seats, difficulty level of the examination, etc. Getting CSE, ECE seats are becoming really tough these days as it has a huge demand.
For securing a ECE seat at Amrita Coimbatore campus, one should have AEEE rank below 2000 for open state students. A candidate has to have above 97 percentile in JEE Mains to get CSE and ECE seats in Coimbatore campus. These are just a prediction based on the previous year cutoff trends.
You can have a detailed look at the previous year AEEE cutoff trends from the link provided below:

Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!
All the best for your future career
Hi Manas,
It is not possible for you to get a computer science and engineering seat at Amrita, Coimbatore with the mentioned percentile. Analysis of past trends shows it requires 96 percentile or above in JEE to get a seat in the same. The possible reasons for this includes only 30 percent of the total seats being filled through JEE scores and tough competition.
Hope it helps!!
Hi aspirant,
Yes, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham divides the total seats available for a program(excluding management quota seats) in two halves under open and state quota. 50 percent of the seats in each branch is kept reserved for the local candidates that is ones belonging to the home state. The cutoff for the candidates applying under state quota is comparatively lower due to less competition for securing a seat.
Hope it helps!!
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 115/180 and you are wanting to take up cse or cse specialisation in amrita Coimbatore so let me tell you that it is very difficult to predict on the basis of your marks that what will you get exactly because the dynamics of these private college entrance examination changes every year and depends on the following factors:-
1-Number of candidates appearing in the examination
2-Number of vacant seats in college.
3-Previous years cut offs.
4-Difficulty level of the paper
For more information you can check out the link given below:-
Dear student,
There is not a single chance that you will get CSE in any of the campus of Amrita, as mostly CSE seats are already filled in the first two round of counselling, only few are left and cutoff for those seats are little bit high.
As you have to aware that you need to come under of 10K atleast for the CSE specialization and under 3.5K for core CSE, but you are crossing the limit, so there is no chance that you will get CSE in any of the further round, better if you choose other branches like IT (you might get that), CCE, ECE or any other CSE like seat, another option is for you to go with the management quota if you really want the CSE seat only.
Best Of Luck!!!!
Hi aspirant,
Congratulations on such a great performance in AEEE. Well it is for sure that you will be eligible for every courses at Amrita, Coimbatore but it is very difficult to predict the fee slab you will get. Actually the intake in in Computer science and engineering is very low and a major portion of it is reserved for management quota. The the first slab is available for the top 25% students in that branch subsequently the second slab is available for next twenty five percent students from top and slap 3 for rest of the 50%. Analysing the past trends of marks vs Rank you can get a rank around 1000 which will make you eligible for third slab only.
Hope it helps!!
Who the hell are you...

My college is well infrastructured which consists lots of uniqueness which makes student to focus on what actually important. Living space is absolutely clean. Facilities provided are well and good as far now.
Very good infrastructure and coaching. Ample study resources are available. Highly recommend to all the students for higher education. Very good faculty and faculty-students relationship. Overall very good.
College provides a WiFi network throughout the building blocks. We even have a well-established library. The hostel and mess are inside our campus itself. Only vegetarian food is being served there. Single sharing rooms are provided to all the students in the hostel. Common toilets are kept clean throughout the day. Other facilities such as a swimming pool, grass court for football, gym are also available.
