See if you want to compare between this two courses then I would recommend you to go for ECE. We know CCE is a computer science correlated course but let me tell you at the end the CSE one's will be more preferred in placements. But if you go for ECE then you will get both the opennings of IT and ECE which gives you more possibility to get selected. Now its your matter and based on your interest you can go for the course but as per the number of options and possibilities I think ECE will be better.

Amrita university is a good private institution for BTech. And CSE is the core branch of engineering. So if you want to join this branch you have to get good marks and good score. Your score is good here. 156 then your rank approximately 1500. So you will get the CSE branch. But for this reason you have to go for counselling then you can know. There are separate boys and girls hostel in Amrita, coimbatore campus. PG and final year UG students get a single room. Pure vegetarian food is served in the mess.
there is a night cafeteria attached to the hostel as well.
there is one common room in each building of the hostels. One gym each for boys and girls. There is wifi, indoor games facilities. The hostel and rooms are kept very tidy and hygienic . Four students in one room till youre in final year then you get a separate room. Theres no Problem with the electricity or water supply.

In CSE you have a lot of subjects and variables of topics. So the primary reason which is considered is that if you want to know more about a specific part of CSE then specialization is great.

For example, you have interest in CSE but you really like the portion of Artificial Intelligence then you can go for the specialization in AI.

But in general most student don't exactly know how is the essence of the subject in real life. For example we all know about robotics but in robotics we have various parameters which we have to learn and not only building it. Thus I always suggest that if you are sure about a field of specialization is what you want to do then go for BTECH CSE specialization else its better for you to go for CSE.

Taking the wrong specialization can be very frustrating for any student. So you should either be sure or don't take it else. You can know about any specialization by searching on internet or by seeing the curriculum of a university you want to take admission in. If you think that you will enjoy studying it then go for it else you go for CSE.

Remember CSE will give you a broad perspective and you have enough job opportunity in it. So don't go for specializations being not so sure.

So the course you will choose must be clear to you that what the courses goal is and how it will satisfy your dreams and the way you want to see yourself in future. Both the courses have equal opportunities but you should keep the above mentioned reason in your mind.

Amrita has only 30% seats reserved for jee mains candidates, a rank of 5k in jee mains is a great rank and to get CSE in amrita in any campus you need a percentile above 97. A rank of 5k means your percentile is almost around 99.4 to 99.6 so you have a great chance.

Moreover you can also give AEEE and to get CSE in amrita, get a score above 150 out of 180 to secure a seat in amrita. Based on your JEE mains rank, you have a great opportunity.
