ANA Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research, Bareilly, was established in 2018 and is a young institute in the field of pharmaceutical education. This affiliated college of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, is situated in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and occupies only 30 acres of area. It has received recognitions from PCI and AICTE that make sure that students receive good education in the pharmaceutical field. ANA Institute enrols 166 students at present and has 12 faculty members, which makes the institute provide students with personalised education experience. The institute offers two programmes in pharmacy to cater to the students interested in this promising and crucial sector.
ANA Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research admits students to its facility with a view of giving learners all the facilities that they need in today’s world. It has an institute library, which provides good services and acts as a focal point of students’ learning activities. It also maintains a collection of books from standard authors and publishers in specialised areas and fields of engineering, science, and management. In the same way, a library is provided as a virtual library to the students for e-access for an extensive search.
The institute is equally well equipped in the IT front, ranging from a well-facilitated computer centre containing the IBM servers and networking systems. The college offers Windows, Unix, and Linux for students, as well as C, C++, Visual Studio, and Oracle. Internet facility is established through RF link 24 hours a day to allow the students to access information as situation may demand.
ANA Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research also includes provision of comfort to students to access and make use of the aforesaid amenities. The campus has separate hostel sections for boys and girls with all necessary amenities available, plus hygienically healthy food. The residents of the hostel can get more time in the library and the computer laboratory than any ordinary college hours as the area is conducive for study and research. To ensure the convenience of students travelling from the city and nearby areas, the institute provides transport facilities with buses that ply through the routes Baheri, Budaun, Milak, Nawabganj, Pilibhit, and Rampur.
The institute teaches two full-time courses in the subject of pharmacy. The D.Pharma course is of two years duration, and the B.Pharma course is of four years duration. They were given an approved enrolment to take 60 students each, making the total number of places in the two courses 120. These programmes are going to create a student capable of undertaking lucrative jobs in this industry or to undertake higher studies.
