Furthermore, any additional entrance tests prescribed by the college or body with which the college is affiliated form part of the criteria. Its intention is to give students a good theoretical foundation underlying practical nursing skills.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: A two-year course for registered nurses interested in upgrading their qualifications, the college has 40 seats for this programme. Usually listed eligibility criteria include Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with registration as an RN/RM (Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife) with State Nursing Council. Admission could also be on merit based on the qualifying examination or through an entrance test.
ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery): The college also runs the ANM Programme, allowing admission for 30 students. It is a two-year diploma course on average.
