Anand Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Bharatpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Anand Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is a dedicated teacher education college set up in 2006 at Bharatpur Rajasthan. This college is located across the road from CIMMCO LTD and this college occupies a small piece of land of 1.7 acres. The institute is Recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which is responsible for standards in teacher education. The college cumulative enrolment is 287 students, with 21 faculty members, therefore ensuring an adequate student teacher ratio. 

Here is an inventory of the facilities available in the college to improve student’s learning process. Most significant is the library with diverse inputs that includes more than 5000 books in areas of education and management. It also gets subscription to national and international journal and magazine so that the students can update themselves with the further advancements in the field. Technology is also well embraced in the institution since the IT department has 7 computer systems with current hardware and software.

Anand Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya provides two basic programs in teacher education. The B.Ed. programme offers 100 seats of intake and the D.El.Ed programme for competent teachers was set up with 50 seats. Both of them are two-year full-time courses for preparation qualified teachers for career in teaching.

The B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. admissions at Anand Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya are done according to the merit of the entrance tests conducted by the state government’s affiliated board of education. For the B.Ed. program, the candidate should clear Pre Teacher Education Test called PTET from the state government. Likewise, entry to the degree course of the D.El.Ed. formerly known as B.S.T.C is allowed after passing a state level entrance examination.
