If you are getting AIIMS, then go for only AIIMS because they are the one of the institution in India.

Good luck

Hello,

According to previous years records, there are good possibilities to land up in Andhra medical college. The last year cut off rack for BC category was 12k under state quota .

Browse the link given below to check the college you can get on the basis of your marks-

http://www.medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap
This is just a prediction based on previous year records. The cut off changes every year depending upon the difficulty level of the paper and number of students who appeared in the entrance exam

Hope this helps,

Regards!

Hi !

You should take the college alloted to you in round 1. And participate further for the other round of counselling , if you get the desired college in round 2 , get withdrawl from your first college. In this way , you can have backup option. Since you have not mentioned your category , considering you to be of general category , the cutoff for your desired college was 611 in 2018. So , it is difficult for you to get a seat unless and until you belong to any reserved category.

All the best !

Check out the following website for more information:

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap

Dear Neeharika, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless in 2018, the cut offs for various Categories for both these colleges have been as follows:

Andhra Medical College:

General Category: 562

BC: 530

SC:451

ST: 423

Rangaraya Medical College:

General Category: 535

BC: 500

SC: 430

ST: 389

The cut iffs have increased by 15 marks in general from last year. So an increase of 25-40 marks can be expected. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats availble, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can check the cut offs of various colleges at:

  • As if we consider ,last year's cutoff for unreserved category in that college ,it was 973 rank and you secured 465 rank  .Therefore ,you have high chances.

I hope this information proves helpful to you.

All the best

Hello Prasanna,
Anything could not be said about what colleges you can get on the basis of your score in NEET, you should know that it would be too early to predict anything. The cut off trends tend to change every year and same can be expected for this year as well. However, for your given score, you have a good chance to get into a good college. If you want a decent level college you should have achieved a score of 500+. But you can try the college predictor for further information about colleges:

Hello aspirat,

Pack your bags.

You're going to become a doctor.

Yes of course you will get a seat there.

Good luck
