Infrastructure was very good in terms of clinical resources and patient inflow.Hostel was not upto the mark in the first year which was later rectified when a new hostel building was opened..College and library had everything we could ask for
The college infrastructure is not upto the mark and it doesn’t have proper campus. The college in general is clean and have decent hygienic conditions. The classrooms are very congested for a strength of 250 students.

As we look at the previous years cut-off it is seen that the opening and closing rank for madras medical college was 255 and 755 respectively for last year for general category. 783-979 for obc and 6533-12242 for the reserved category.
As the competition is increasing every year it is expected that this year also the cut off will hike up. So in order to lock a seat in this governement college you need scare a safe number which may be around 650-670 and above.

Yes, BPT course is available in Madras Medical College. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T) is a full-time 4.5-year course offered by Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute University, Chennai. There is no entrance exam candidates have to fill out the application form from the official website. Candidates who have passed 10+2 standard of education from any approved board or university with not less then 40% marks in PCB are eligible for this course.
