Angel College of Engineering and Technology also referred to as ACET was started in the year 2007, at Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college, which got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has tremendous specialties in the type of engineering programmes. ACET has a total student strength of 465, and a total faculty strength of 85, and is located on an 18.66 acre campus.
The Angel College of Engineering and Technology possesses several amenities of learning that are in a position to fulfil the student learning goals and personality development needs. The central library also acts as information centre containing over 20000 volumes in about 4700 titles and 70 both international and national journals. This is supplemented by a digital library filled with digitised forms and journal articles. There are also the men’s hostel which has a capacity of 250 students in 30 rooms, the women’s hostel has other 42rooms for 250 female residents where they get a favourable environment for learning.
ACET spans a full range of engineering courses at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. The institute offers 6 BE, 4 ME and 2 PhD programmes. All undergraduate programmes are Regular programmes with a tenure of Four Calendar years. Degree wise Admission Process
B.E./B.Tech: ACET has six undergraduate engineering courses, each with an intake of 60 students. The courses are Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Fashion Technology, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The admissions to these courses are done on the basis of TANCET scores and the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination (10+2).
M.E.: There are four postgraduate engineering courses in the college: Computer Science and Engineering (24 seats), Embedded Systems (18 seats), VLSI Design (9 seats), and Engineering Design (9 seats). All these programs have admissions depending on TANCET scores as well. All the applicants must hold a suitable bachelor's degree in engineering for their admissions in these courses.
