Annpurna TT College, Neemkathana: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Annpurna TT College was established in 2008 as an affiliated college and is situated in Neemkathana, Rajasthan. This teacher training college accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) focuses on specialised programmes in education. The college is spread over an one acre of land and its current enrolment is 196 students and has sixteen faculty members. Annpurna TT College focuses on two course, the  Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme to serve the need of education at different standards.

Annpurna TT College has modern facilities that are intended to support the learning process of the college students. A good library is central to the academic purpose of the institution and it contains about five thousand books, magazines, newspapers and tapes. The students also enjoy computer connection to the internet as well as photocopying services among other services of the library. The IT facility of the college is strong and there are computers linked together for staff and learners. The college also make sure that the teachers are computer literate enough to develop both the lesson plan and teaching presentation. The college has also included well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology where student practical learning takes place. The college also lays stress on physical education and has a good provision for outdoor as well as indoor sports under a full time Sports Officer.

Annpurna TT College provides two full time programmes in the stream of education. The intake into the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme is for a total of 100 students while the intake for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a total of 50 students. The total number of students enroled for both the courses is 196.

The admission process at Annpurna TT College is based on the marks secured in the qualifying s and/or entrance exams. For the B.Ed programme, admissions is done strictly as per rules and regulation framed by state Govt/UT administration and the affiliated university. The admission to D.El.Ed programme is through Pre-Teacher Education Test, which is authorised by Government of Rajasthan. The college as a centre for teacher education holds responsibility for preparing aspiring educators for Rajasthan and other parts of the country.
