Apeejay Institute of Engineering Jalandhar, Punjab, is one of the leading educational institute of engineering in Punjab, India. This center is located on over 4 acre pieces of land and therefore houses environment that foster learning. For out of town students, the campus has different hostels for boys and girls each with 75 students’ accommodation capacity. All our hostels are run by resident wardens and other staff who help in the running of the hostels and in turning them into safe homes. AIE has one of the magnificent libraries that are stocked with more than 25,112 books and covering all sorts of fields of knowledge. This large and fully air-conditioned library is located to support the needs of students and members of the faculty. Technology is well developed in the institute as it has a fully furnished Computer Centre with 549 computers and laptops sophisticated servers. The whole campus is wireless, meaning that students and faculties are able to connect to internet and intranet at anytime of the day.

AIE currently offers two full-time B.Tech programmes: Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The two are of four years’ duration These programmes were aimed at producing professional students with strong backgrounds in their areas of specialization. Electronics & Communication Engineering programme has a sanctioned admission limit of 60 students only, but the limit on admission of the Computer Science & Engineering programme is unknown. 

Admission into the AIE is done on merit, and the student’s performance in the qualifying examination is considered. The institute recognizes scores from Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) which is one of the country’s leading engineering examinations. This maximises the idea that AIE attracts some of the brightest brains from across the country.
