Apollo College of Education, a co-educational institution for women founded in 2005, is an affiliated college providing education to those who want to become teachers in future. This institution is established in Poonamallee Chennai, and it has a negligible area of 1.66 Acres of land to set up this institution thus giving a closer look on the students who aspire to be teachers. It is an NCTE recognized college which offers a rather specialised curriculum and only one programme of study at the college. Apollo College of Education has a total of 199 students and 14 faculty members; thus, it has a decent student-teacher ratio that guarantees appropriate support and encouragement to exchange the knowledge to every learner.

Apollo College of Education offers a number of learning amenities that help create the best learning environment for students. Apollo College of Education is distinctively structured to offer only the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) a two-year full-time course for producing competent and passionate teachers. The B.Ed offered at Apollo College of Education shall be planned to offer a vast knowledge on theories of education, methods of teaching and implementing them in class.

The admission policy of Apollo College of Education is in compliance with state government, U.T. Administration and the affiliated University norms. Selection to various courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or any entrance examination.
