Appasaheb Birnale College of Education, Sangli, Was established in 2009 With its mission to set the trend of the future in Education. It is a co-educational college situated at Sangli Ratnagiri Road Near Railway Station Sangli Maharashtra and the college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education India [NCTE]. Located on a small plot of land of 1.13 acres the location focuses on providing quality education for the professionalism in teaching field.

With regard to academic programmes, Appasaheb Biennale College of Education has an academic curriculum on education with two subject areas. ; These programmes are full-time and take two academic years to complete The college offers two programmes of study in this faculty that include Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) programmes. Each course has been approved for 50 intakes; therefore, the courses in total have 100 students. These programmes are specifically intended to provide academic instruction as well as practical pedagogy required to create competent teachers.
