Aravindar College of Education is also one of the budding entrepreneurial college that inaugurated in the year 2009, and located in Tiruvannamalai. This affiliated college situated in Aravindhar Nagar, Thenpallipattu, Kalasapakkam has been growing leaps and bound in the area of teacher education. The institute is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college currently has 7 committed teachers with 3 complete time programmes in education for different specialisation students.

Aravindar College of Education possesses a variety of facilities which are hope to make the college environment conducive for the students. A fully equipped library is an essential source of information that helps students get access to variety of educational materials. There are many departmental laboratories on the campus; such laboratories are essential for any trainee teacher. An auditorium accommodates a variety of occasions and scholarly forums enabling hustles of a culture. It has also taken care of student welfare in terms of provision of a canteen, a health centre, which includes first aid facilities and sporting facilities for recreation. Also, the institution sustains well in IT infrastructure which enable the students to understand modern education tools.

Education is a course that prepares professional teachers and Aravindar College of Education offers a general course on this field. The institute provides three full-time programmes: B.E.d, M.E.d & diploma in teaching for elementary classes also known as D.El.Ed. These programmes are intended for teacher training ranging from the elemental level through to college and university levels. The B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes have 100 seats, and the M.Ed programme has fifty seats. 

Candidates seeking admission to Aravindar College of Education undergo through a merit system to ensure that the institution has equipped itself with the best of brains. In the case of the B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes, the admission criterion depends on the merit of the qualifying examination and/ or an entrance examination. The venues may also be selected based on other characteristics in accordance to the policies set by the state governments or union territorial administrations. Likewise, For M. Ed Programme admission are meritorious and they are selective based on marks in the qualifying examination, entrance test or any other mode recommended by the state government, university or the UT administration.
