ARG College of Arts and Commerce, Davanagere, was started in 1973, and it is a well-known college of Karnataka, India. This affiliated college, spread over 6.9 acre of land, has been charting progressive strides in the field of higher education for almost half a century. The ARG College has been accredited with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) which is evident each colleges passion for maintaining particular standards. The institution enrolment currently stands at 280 total number of students, the institution is privileged to have an able faculty of 7 members. Being arts and commerce college the college offers four different degrees to meet the diverse needs of learners and career goals.

ARG College of Arts and Commerce boasts of having varieties of facilities to supplement the learning process of the students enrolled in the institution. The main facility of academic library is situated at main building and it is the large building that extend to 3520 sq. ft. Its infrastructure includes a large reference hall, which can capacity 60-70 students, the separate sections for female students and female teachers, the special area for reading Newspapers and periodicals. In the area of health and wellness the college has a health facility with first aid services. Sports lovers on the other hand can enjoy the college’s facility on sporting activities as the technophiles enjoy the great IT facilities. It also has a campus hall for use in organising events and seminars, campus cafeteria to provide the students with foods and snacks and a laboratory with all the necessary accompaniments necessary for the practical lessons.

In total, the ARG College of Arts and Commerce offers 5 full-time courses for students, thus offering students a specialised but balanced view of academic offerings. This two is offered here as undergraduate and postgraduate programmes-BBA,M.Com and B.Com etc. basically to satisfy the different areas of higher learning.
