Arignar Anna Government Arts College Attur, was established in 1972, located at Attur in Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college in a large vast land of 125 acres comprises of 25 different courses in 8 degree programmes. Overall the college has a student enrolment of 2632 and a faculty of 38 members of staff who contribute to the growth and development of the college. The institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to ensure that, the institution has standard education. 

Arignar Anna Government Arts College has various facilities that facilitate the college’s general learning environment. The library, including 10,500 books plus, helps enrich students’ information base, which goes beyond the programme curriculum. It has provided the college with form-specific laboratories complete with modern day technologies for practical exercises. The course offered at AAAC is UG and PG programme which includes all branches of Arts, Science and Commerce. The colleges and school offer a total of 25 programmes in areas of specialisation; these are full-time programmes in many disciplines. Bachelor’s degree programmes offered to the students at the undergraduate level are – B.A ( Bachelor of Arts), B.Sc (Bachelor of Science), B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), and B.B.A (Bachelor of Business Administration).
